Is a promise,
Between me and myself,
Not a fake line,
Joining you and me.

I do not need a thousand reasons to smile for you,
When I have that one single reason,
To smile for myself,
And that's a genuine one,
Just for me.

You do not have the rights to see my moody face,
And I do not have the rights to show you my smiley face,
I am not being selfish,
I am not being emotional,
I am just being protective,
I am just being,
Me.

When a thousand reasons are pushing you away from your smile,
Give yourselves a reason,
To smile for yourselves.
Don't display fake smiles to others,
Keep that genuine one,
